Cases Not Covered by Warranty:
The warranty is void if the invoice is not presented and/or if the warranty certificate is altered or tampered with by the consumer, or if the product’s serial numbers have been changed, erased, or damaged.
Damages or malfunctions caused by incorrect handling, storage, or environmental conditions by the consumer.
Damage resulting from external factors such as impact, breakage, or scratches.
Malfunctions or damages caused by unauthorized part replacements or non-standard modifications made by the consumer.
Malfunctions or damage resulting from the use of chemicals not recommended or required by the manufacturer.
Products must be installed by A. O. Smith Authorized Service Providers. You may obtain the list of authorized service providers via our call center. If the product is not installed by authorized service providers, the warranty becomes void.
Malfunctions or incompatibility issues resulting from the use of non-original parts in critical areas of the device, where original parts should be supplied by an authorized service provider.
Damages caused by failure to meet the requirements outlined in the user manual and user errors.
Malfunctions caused by natural disasters, extreme weather conditions, highly calcified/muddy/dirty plumbing, humidity, dust, lime, and other environmental factors.
Malfunctions or damage due to freezing, clogging, contamination, disconnection, or breakage of the main water supply or its connections, and damage to the water supply system due to external factors.
Leaks or malfunctions not caused by the product, such as electricity, gas, or water outages and/or leaks in electricity, gas, or water systems.
Malfunctions or issues resulting from failure to meet or stabilize the technical requirements stated in the user manual for standard operation of the product (e.g., suitable water pressure, stabilized voltage and fuse values based on municipal supply standards, proper grounding, sufficient ventilation, etc.).
Malfunctions arising from the failure to perform routine maintenance or checks recommended in the user manual or by authorized service providers are not covered by the warranty.
